I am back. Bear with me, people. I've had a long couple of stressful weeks. I don't feel comfortable exposing everything on the internet. Suffice it to say I was having issues but things are being resolved. I feel a lot better about things now. I'm kind of tired and don't really know what else to say, so I'm going to go. Vodka Induced Inferno

Last night I had a thought to change the name of this blog to Vodka Induced Inferno with the tagline, "Not really, I'm abstinent."

And I'm back, by popular demand...or not. So, last night we went out of town for dinner. I've had a few stressful weeks, and this week was kind of strange...so we decided to get away for a while. We ate an awesome dinner and stopped for ice cream on the way home. While in the drive-thru line at the ice cream place, Kyle dropped a bomb...a REALLY bad bomb. It was shameful in every way. The car goes silent. Alan says something like "damn!" Kyle responds with, "It's like the ghost of a rotisserie chicken crawled out of my ass!"

On An Evening Such As This...It's Hard To Tell If I Exist

I know you all have missed me in my absence. No, the Scientologists did not kidnap me, brainwash me, and return me home. Funny story, though...I was kidnapped once. Want to know something else interesting? One of the persons that did it to me was released from prison a week ago. Want to know something else interesting? She had a 40 year sentence and at least 2 (I think more) counts of CRIMINAL charges, and I found out this week that she had been serving her sentence in a minimum security prison. She was a convicted CRIMINAL felon...and she got to enjoy her less than 1/4 of time served in a fucking MARTHA STEWERT prison. I'm slightly pissed. Can you tell? I also found out (through my own good sleuthing) that one of the others is "projected" to be released later on this year. WONDERFUL. That makes me have SO much faith in our legal system. People kidnap two people (of which, one is only 14 and neither are adults), pull guns on them, hijack the car they are in, beat the holy living shit out of them and leave them on the side of the road naked to die, and they don't even serve even 1/4 of their sentence...and that they do serve is in a low risk prison. Justice? Hell no. So, that's been going on. Also, ever since we found out about the departure from this lovely unproductive member of society, a few random and coincidental things have happened. I'm getting slightly concerned and annoyed by the whole matter. So, that's what is up with me right now.
Aside from the annoyance of all of that junk from my past coming back to haunt me right now, I'm fairly content and happy. I've had some fun opportunities arise. Tomorrow I get to go to a baseball game, which is awesome. I'm feeling more creative both on the artistic and musical fronts, which is a very good thing. I'm just sort of sitting back and being amused with life right now. I don't have anything really insightful or funny to say...I'm really freaking tired from last night's bowling and stuff...I just thought I would update and let you guys know that I'm still alive (at least for the present).
